Delivery Manager - System/Software Services - BFSI Domain

The person will be responsible for managing the day to day tasks related to managing the program in a Delivery Manager role with the P&L responsibility. The suitable candidates need to have extensive stake holder management skills with multiple horizontals & onsite/offshore management, strong delivery & account management skills, excellent communication skills (oral and written).

- Experience in management of delivery programs involving the full spectrum of systems / software services delivery activities including Delivery Management, Management/Technology, Project Estimation and Pricing

- Participate in Weekly/Monthly Service Delivery review meetings with customer /Cognizant management

- Participate in delivery aspects of Business Development as part of RFP process - experience in estimations mandatory

- Experience in Application Development programs end to end

- Experience in SOW, cost budget, revenue forecast, estimation and ESA is critical

- Provide proactive, risk assessment, auditing with good leadership skills

- Coaching and mentor others to success and demonstrate strong negotiation skills.

- Ability to drive P&L targets (direct and indirect) and growth

- Ability to provide direct (and indirect) people management - key is building Domain and Technology expertise

- Team Leadership & Excellent Writing and Comprehension skills

- To conduct or participate drives in recruiting people required for the program

Skills Required

- At least 12-15 years IT Services experience in delivering projects on J2EE platform.

- At least 5 years experience in delivering AD projects

- Exposure to different estimation methodologies

- Strong analytical and experience in Program Management/ Delivery Management skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements

- Knowledge of Agile is added advantage.

- Domain experience in Banking & Financial Services will be good

- Experience in SOW, cost budget, revenue forecast is needed

- Adhering to the project timelines and customer expectation to be filled as appropriately

- Strong history and track record of completing quality projects on time and on budget, as well as a proven track record in coaching and mentoring others to success.

- Extensive and consistent experience of delivering complex projects throughout their life-cycle.

- Project planning and progress monitoring, including budget control and milestone control; issue and risk management.

- Good presentation skills and strong negotiation skills.

- Ability to anticipate and build contingency plans.

- Good problem solving skills.
