About the role:  The incumbent has to head delivery and operations for one of the core businesses a well established internet company.   The role will be responsible for leading large teams of approximately 400 people, with the overall responsibility of sales, delivery and customer service. It involves managing the business for achieving market leadership through creating high value for the customer by focusing on process innovation, systematic planning & strategic decision making in a way which is profitable for the business.   The role also requires demonstration of cross-functional leadership to work with product and marketing teams within the organization.  Key Responsibility Areas:  Revenue & Profitability:  - Working on sales strategies to maintain the desired growth on the top-line .  - Taking decisions on costs & investments in the business so as to maintain desired profitability  Operational Excellence:  - Driving process improvements to enhance the operational efficiency  - Establishing and maintaining productivity, and quality metrics to ensure optimum efficiency and quality  - Developing objectives (short and long term), and managing the day-to-day efforts of the teams  Manpower Planning & People Leadership:  - Working closely with the human resources for manpower planning, retention, development & other people related matters  - Working in a matrix based structure, leading the business through direct reports & exercising significant influence on matrix relationships to get the best for the business  KPIs (Measurable parameters of the role):  - P&L viability  - Delivery on growth targets  - Process Innovations & their impact  Requirements:  - Demonstrated business, communication, and teamwork abilities   - Be a motivator, mentor and guide for the team  - Collaborative leadership capabilities  - Ability to keep abreast of new happenings in the internet space  - Around 10 years of Inside Sales and Operations management experience is a must  - Internet experience is preferred  - MBA from Tier - I colleges
