Job Description:

We are seeking a mid to senior level Operations Research analyst, excited about operations research modeling, simulation and advanced analytics.

As part of the team, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting edge technology and participate in all aspects of architecting and developing analytics products for a rapidly growing brand.

Typical responsibilities would include effectively utilizing operations research techniques and computer science skills in delivering decision support systems for blocking plan optimization, truck scheduling, crew planning, vehicle capacity planning etc. Experience in designing and implementing heuristic algorithms for NP hard problems such as Knapsack, Vehicle Routing and Facility location will be beneficial. Knowledge of queuing theory and scheduling models will be beneficial as well.

Key Skills:

- B.Tech/M.Tech/M.S in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, from top educational institute.

- Experience with programming in languages such as Python or Java or C/C++.

- Understanding of relational databases. Experience manipulating large data sets will be considered as an advantage.

- Conducts research on network and heuristic optimizations.

- Commercial optimization solver CPLEX - Rule-based optimization - Integer and mixed integer programming (MIP) optimization models - Heuristics or Meta-heuristic algorithms - Discrete event simulation and analysis - Experience in formulating and implementing optimization models

- Ability to rapidly learn new software, frameworks, open source tools and development languages.
