Job Title : Decision Scientist, Projects
Project Specific recruitment (Yes / No):
Yes, for a global Japanese Leasing & Commercial Finance Firm, other opportunities in developing decision support for services sector
Location : Bangalore.
Overview :
- Developing predictive credit scoring algorithm for Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) businesses using macro economic and sector variables.
- Also develop customer segmentation, campaign design and evaluation for SME businesses and other decision support algorithms.
Experience (Years):
- 5-7 years in decision sciences, credit scoring experience and modeling experience on CRM/ macro data sets
Specific Industry (if any): Commercial leasing/ finance or Banking and Financial services, or Credit rating industry
Qualification : Masters in Decision Sciences. Actuarial Sciences is not a necessity.
Specific Skill Set:
- Should have worked on credit history and credit scoring algorithms and on CRM data sets in the specified industry.
- Expertise in CRM techniques such as propensity models, survival analysis, decision trees, other time series techniques etc. and hands on with SAS/ R etc.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of predictive credit profiling/ credit scoring of Small & Medium Enterprises in Japan using financial data, referential credit history, historical sector indices and other government and Macro Economic data.
- Also lead the development of B2B Customer segmentation, Targeting and Campaign ROI practices
Position : Permanent
