Job Description :

The Data Science Consultant will lead client facing engagements aimed at solving clients challenging business problems through the use of inspired analytics; the assembly and integration of disparate data sources, application of machine learning methods and impactful interpretation and communication of key insights through intuitive visualization and decision support tools.

Your typical day :

- Working with client's key management personnel to understand their most complex business challenges and develop precise and fine grained problem statements. Developing high level solution architectures and working with our offshore team of big data engineers and decision science analysts to build, test and assess models that predict and optimize business outcomes based on client's success criteria.

- Develop sophisticated yet simple interpretations and communicate insights to clients that lead to quantifiable business impact. Building deep relationship with clients by understanding their stated but more importantly, latent needs. Working closely with the offshore delivery managers to ensure a seamless communication and delivery cadence.

The Ideal Candidate :

- A highly numerate and analytical thinker who is passionate about solving client's business problems using applied math, statistics, machine learning, big- data and business acumen. Someone who can roll up their sleeves, quickly learn clients transactional and data systems, collect and aggregate disparate data sets using automated data crawling and parsing routines and use SQL based ETL and data preparation tools to help the offshore team gain access the necessary data. Possesses a working knowledge of decisions science tools such as R, Excel VBA and more. At least 2+ years of relevant decision

- Science and analytics experience

- Advanced Degree in a quantitative discipline (Applied Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Engineering,Marketing Science, Financial Engineering, Econometrics, Operations Research).
