Dealing Officer - Equity Syndication (2-5 yrs)
Job Purpose :
To assist senior members of the team in origination of opportunities and efficient execution of fee based mandates, primarily in the M&A, Private Equity syndication space by carrying out preliminary assessment, market research, financial modelling & due-diligence and such other necessary tasks thereby contributing to the bottom-line of the organization and help diversify the long term sources of fee for the organization.
Educational Qualifications and Experience :
- Academic background in Accounting & Finance (Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management / MBA / CA) and preferred with specialized certifications like CFA, FRM, etc.
- 2-3 years of relevant experience is preferred post
Functional Skills :
- Spreadsheet modeling with applied knowledge of associated analytical tools, proficiency in presentation and word processing software packages
- Fundamental understanding of financial statements and accounting principles
- Basic knowledge of core sectors (Energy, Roads, Ports, Telecom, Construction, Urban Infrastructure) and related industry/ policy developments
- Basic comprehension of techno-commercial and legal contracts, banking norms and regulatory systems
- Basic understanding of legal and regulatory aspects of financial instruments in the Indian/ Overseas market
