Job Purpose :  The position ensures :  MIS preparation & analysis to monitor & report on the bank's performance in absolute, relative, and benchmark related terms. Monitoring of financial & MIS data.  Key Accountabilities :  Fulfill all responsibilities in relation to:  - Preparation of analytical MIS reports for HO & local management.  - Tracking & monitoring of financial & MIS data and instituting checks & controls in related areas including transactional accounting  - Interact with units on regular basis for their business information requirement.  - Coordination from Finance towards the Budget Preparation of BUs/SUs  - Comprehensive MIS support to all Support Units with DBS India, including periodic reports dissecting performance against budgets, past periods and other comparables, from the perspective of performance and efficiency  - Create a financial discipline in business through regular cost centre expense review and be involved in strategic cost management initiatives.  - Updating controls related information on CSAs, DOI, KRIs, UDMAs as may be applicable and responsibility for CSA testing  - Review the existing process of Business MIS & management accounting for process improvements.  Required Qualifications / Experience :  - CA/MBA with minimum 3-4 yrs post-qualification experience in banking, preferably in Financial MIS reporting, or, Accounts Professional with 7-8 yrs relevant experience in banking, preferably in Financial MIS  - Thorough working knowledge of MS-Excel
