Job Purpose :

- Support Head, Bancassurance in executing the CBG India Bancassurance sales strategy for Insurance Products. Responsibility for revenues and building the business, comprising of Life Insurance, General Insurance and Health Insurance.

- To establish a strong DBS franchise in the local market through delivering the bank's bancassurance business vision and strategies embracing exceptional execution of revenue generation, insurance portfolio management, and service of DBS Customers towards their protection, long term savings, non-life insurance and health cover needs

Key Accountabilities :

- Execute Bancassurance strategy for India and drive revenues across channels.

- Implementation of strategies across DBS Branches and Channels.

- Work with teams so that all channels deliver desired productivity.

- Employee engagement and coaching of direct reports.

- Ensure adherence to internal and Regulatory compliance in sales process and ensure certification on Insurance before sourcing.

- Work closely with Operations and Business for seamless implementation and delivery.

- The achievement of the targeted score of overall customer satisfaction rating for insurance.

Job Duties & responsibilities :

- Engage with CBG Sales & Distribution team actively to ensure a robust sales process and build the Bancassurance business.

- Engage with Onshore city businesses and manage relationships with Third Party Insurer of Life, General and Health Insurance providers to ensure that best products are available and to ensure achievement of Bancassurance revenues in India

- Coordinate with Bancassurance product team and insurers to ensure customer-centric products to comply with fair-dealing guidelines of the Bank.

- To implement and ensure exceptional customer service and achieve high score of customer satisfaction rating for Insurance.

- To encourage staff to live PRIDE 2.0! values and deliver it for the benefit of the customer

- To ensure internal operational risk compliance in place and prevent Bank staff from any mis-doing /misconduct behaviour.

- To achieve the Bancassurance revenue objectives through right product - mix, portfolio-mix basis the targets set in the beginning of the year.

- To ensure staff personal development program in place and develop succession plan within the respective branches for Bancassurance products and sales.

- To maintain close and strong relationship with local regulatory authorities and ensure operational policy compliance on Bancassurance.

- To apply, monitor, and do periodic review of Know Your Customer (KYC) and Money Laundering Prevention (PAML) processes to all customers as per the DBS policy.
