DataWind - Senior Media Buyer

DataWind Inc. is a global leader in the development of wireless web access products and services. We offer a series of wireless web access devices and related web delivery platforms, including tablets, smartphones, as well as other industry-leading web-browsing devices.

- We are currently hiring a Senior Media Buyer in Hyderabad capable of focusing on TV and Home Shopping networks and infomercial operational issues, to strategically differentiate our products from our competitors.

- This Executive will need diverse skill sets to handle functions in media buying, network traffic, and the overall Home Shopping related operations.

Responsibilities:

- Negotiate agreements with TV channels and home shopping networks- executives;

- Identifying and negotiating best prime time slots and channel allocation;

- Identifying strategic partnership opportunities for programming and interactive services;

- Establishing media metrics and analytics tools to measure on-air success;

- Managing commercial/infomercials inventory utilization,

- Collaboration with Infomercial creative contributors;

- Budget tracking, and assisting in the annual budget development process;

- Preparing advertising revenue analysis and maintaining revenue forecasting models;

- Providing comprehensive reports.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Commerce, or in a related field

- 5+ years experience in Marketing and Media Buying

- 3+ years experience in buying TV air-time

- Must have had a producer or a developmental director role on at least two or more successful Infomercial productions/ launching

- Previous experience as a creative visionary within the Advertising & Home Shopping network industry

- Knowledge of different TV channels, Home Shopping networks, and marketing dynamics, as well as proven experience in trading strategies

- Willingness to travel
