Requirements:

Phd Statistics:

- Statistics - Solid knowledge of statistical techniques is required.

- Proven experience with Hadoop and related programming environments (Hive, Pig, etc).

Demonstrable skills in creative-problem-solving of complex and advanced technical subject matter

- Own the business analytics lifecycle partner with business teams to understand business context, translate business question into analytics problem, solving, interpreting analytics solution in business terms, assessing whether business question is addressed

- Communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of people - simplifying analytics for business practitioners

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills in order to effectively contribute to technical teams and make presentations to a variety of technical and business personnel
Business acumen:

- Ability to pick the right analytical problem - the choice of the right problem being determined by its alignment with key business imperatives and the business impact its expected to deliver

- Thorough understanding of the business context for the problem on-hand
