Job Title: Data Research Scientist

Location - Kolkata

Experience -10-15 years

Qualification: Post graduate degree in Business Administration (MBA), economics, statistics, mathematics, etc.

Key responsibilities:

- Deliver a high quality, pro-active and efficient data acquisition and processing service to support business analysis.

- Synthesize multiple pieces of research and information into clear and compelling recommendations for the business

- Establish and implement processes to ensure data quality in line with end user requirements

- Design, develop and implement appropriate validation and data quality assurance processes

- Improve efficiency in delivery of data acquisition and processing services.

- Support consumers of information, both internal and external

- Provide thought leadership to numerous business analytics project through deep understanding of data and its related application

- Record, analyse and evaluate Industry wise data qualitatively and quantitatively using scientific methodologies and draw inferences

- Design research methodology which comprises of a combination of secondary/web research and primary research to validate data captured from numerous sources or to figure out the information missing after conducting searches.

Skill sets and Experience:

- Expertise with key Marketing Research techniques - including segmentation, attitude and usage studies, positioning research, customer experience research, social media research, and influencer research.

- Importantly, the ability to uncover meaningful insights from the research.

- The ability to take the insights from various pieces of consumer research and weave them together with other internal and external information to develop strategies for the organization that will allow it to achieve aggressive growth targets

- Prior working experience with a consulting / analytics / market research / data sourcing firms;

- Knowledge about Indian economy, demography, data sources maintained by central / state governments, agencies, private / public enterprises would be added advantage
