About Our Client:

Our client is a leading firm with presence in more than 60 countries. They are one of the renowned business groups and have their offices spread across different countries. With the new wave in Data Sciences, they are investing in growing their R&D lab building a global capability across offices. They are thus looking for a Senior professional in the Machine Learning & Algorithm designing space.

Job Description:

Reporting into a Director, you will be responsible for:

- Developing Algorithms and Models

- Developing Solutions and Executing Analytical projects using Machine Learning/Text Mining algorithm and methodologies.

- Ensuring Team Building and Capability Development for Big Data Analytics

- Becoming Subject Matter Experts in machine learning & algorithm designing.

- Defining direction, identifying and procuring skills required to deliver the Engagement satisfactorily.

- Developing thought leadership in solution design and delivery.

- Delivering projects within budget and time by involving in the projects as a technology specialist

- Will support business to drive stronger data driven decision making

- Would be responsible to build complex algorithms that drive better online personalization and search

- You will innovate, design, analyze, evaluate, architect, implement and tune complex algorithms and Machine Learning models operating on large sets of data in collaboration with various stakeholders.

The Successful Applicant:

As a successful applicant, you should have:

- B.Tech (+8 years of relevant exp), M.Tech, M.Sc. (+6 years of relevant exp), Ph.D. (+3 years of relevant experience) in Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science preferred

- Should have worked in manufacturing, automation, instrumentation industries

- Knowledge of controls, sensors, robotics, automation, PLC, SCADA, etc.

- Ability to work with machine data; has knowledge of Machine to Machine (M2M) technologies

- Experienced in data analysis, data mining, mathematical modeling and programming, statistical analysis, forecasting/predictive modeling, simulations, optimization, visualizations, machine learning, etc.

- Strong analytical, problem solving, and conceptual skills.

- Demonstrated ability to work with ambiguous problem definitions, recognize dependencies and deliver impactful solutions through logical problem solving and technical ideations

- Ability to learn new analytical methods and technologies and apply in practical business problems

- Ability to work independently with little supervision to research and test innovative solutions.

- Experienced in statistical tools like R, SAS, Matlab, open source tools

- Able to explain technical solutions to Analytics & Reporting teams

- Knowledge in C++, Java, Python, Pig, Hive and Mahout is a plus.

- Ability to work with voluminous data from various sources.

- Excellent verbal and written communications skills, able to communicate clearly and effectively
