Purpose of the role:

- The analyst will be required to come up with insight & metrics for Marketing and the wider business to help support strategic decision-making and customer engagement.

Key tasks:

- Producing accurate and effective reports and dashboards from varied databases

- Provide analysis & reporting on trends and key metrics

- Develop and recommend new metrics as required

- Work with new technologies and databases when required to meeting ad-hoc reporting requirements

- Optimize use of data for marketing campaigns

Essential experience:

- Excellent data analysis skills, ideally with a technical qualification for manipulating data using VBA. SQL or similar

- Comfortable advising on and optimizing code and working with large datasets

- Experienced in both qualitative and quantitative data analysis techniques

- Demonstrate strong understanding of modelling (e.g. cluster analysis, decision trees, regression, propensity modelling)

- Experience of working with Single Customer Views or data warehouses

- Proven ability to derive and communicate insight from data and to communicate insight to the business

- Experience of delivering reporting programmes to business colleagues

- Excellent interpersonal skills with experience of building relationships with technical and non-technical colleagues

- Ability to produce work with a very high level of attention to detail

- Strong time management and organisation skills

- Relevant work experience producing business analytics
