Detailed responsibilities:

For analyst (0-3 years of experience):

- Conduct research on the leading trends in the development sector

- Work closely with key stakeholders (NGOs, funders and donors) to identify key areas for support

- Help generate and communicate key insights across reports, proposals and other documentation

- Help conduct due diligence on non-profits, including visiting field work, management discussions, and data analysis

- Coordinate with internal teams on timely completion of deliverables and project plans

- Support the team in organizing philanthropic, fundraising, and capacity building events

For associate (3-5 years of experience):

- Conduct research on the leading trends in the development sector

- Synthesize multiple inputs to generate meaningful insights with imperfect data

- Communicate insights across reports, proposals and other documentation

- Lead organizational due diligence to assess scale, growth potential, funding needs, and identify high potential non-profits

- Manage and build relationships with external stakeholders, including funders, NGOs, and knowledge partners

- Create and deliver recommendations for key stakeholders (investors and donors)

- Independently conceptualise and manage key deliverables, projects, and work plans

- Work closely with internal teams and networks to achieve project deliverables

- Coaching and overseeing the deliverables of the analysts on the team

Desired profile:

- Graduate/Post Graduate with 0-3 years of experience for analysts, or 3-5 years of experience for associates

- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- Strong interpersonal and team skills

- Strong problem-solving, analytical and presentation skills

- Willingness to travel (- 20% of time)

Preferred, but not required:

- Experience in advisory or client-facing sectors such as management consulting and financial services

- Experience in consumer or social facing industries such as healthcare, education, non-profit development, and youth issues

- Experience working in entrepreneurial environments

- Experience in writing business content

- Experience with operational systems and processes
