Job Description
We are looking forward to a smart professional with demonstrated experience of 8 years or more in managing corporate level supply chain management responsibility. His key responsibilities would include:
- Design end-to-end supply chain (inputs, outputs, rationale, gaps) and plan procurement around them by integrating supply & demand forecasting within the company
- Coordinate the technical development of all the systems and tools necessary for managing the different processes
- Accountability for the inventory strategy and deployment of procedures
- Monthly schedule of materials requirements planning based on sales forecast
- Negotiate with suppliers, transporters, global shippers and freight forwarders
- Optimize finished goods warehouse at plants
- Management of product transfers
- Build metrics to measure the efficacy of the supply chain system. Owns all the metrics across the supply chain function and strive to meet and beat the goals and targets.
- Manage/develop a skilled and high impact team of supply chain professionals
- System to support the production planning process with accurate, timely information
- Coordinate the technical development of all the systems and tools necessary for managing the different processes
- Participate in tactical and strategic activities of the firm running in parallel
