Job Description:  The primary responsibility of the Strategic Marketing Team is to facilitate Cypress's long term growth strategy and to drive company-wide corporate marketing initiatives. The Strategic Marketing Team owns and executes assignments to support the Strategic Marketing function through research and analysis of the company's markets; competition and product mix; assists with secondary research and makes recommendations on entering new market areas as well as identifies and recommends inorganic growth opportunities through M&A.   Typical assignments consist of:  - Driving corporate initiatives to achieve business process enhancements   - Evaluating new business plans: understand current status of businesses, existing products, evaluate product/market opportunities.  - Supporting analysis of Cypress- portfolio of products and businesses to ensure company is focused on the highest priority projects, strategically and financially.  - Tracking and managing business metrics, support creation of reports, recommendations and insights that helps the Business Units.  - Monitoring market trends, publish market analysis reports, track company's progress in niche markets or product technology disciplines.  - Actively analyzing and make recommendations for inorganic growth opportunities.  Desired Skills:  - BE / B.Tech from Tier-1 Engineering schools and an MBA from top Business School in India / Abroad.   - 4+ yrs of total work experience with 1+ yrs post B-School is desired.  - MBA degree with focus on Marketing/Strategy/Finance  - Bachelor's degree in EE/EC/CS/IT.   - Experience in semiconductor industry or a background as a technology analyst in a consulting/analytics firm  - Experience in a Strategic Marketing/Product Marketing/Technical Marketing/Consulting role is a definite plus  - Should be energetic and passionate about the role and industry, and be a structured problem solver.  - Excellent analytical skills and the ability to think out-of-the-box to develop innovative frameworks & methodologies.   - Ability to perform quantitative analysis and summarize analytical data into user-friendly reports translating unstructured data into appropriate recommendations for marketing and sales actions.   Note: Resumes without Graduation marks/GPA will be rejected.   The profile is designed to develop the professional knowledge and ability of the individual.
