About our Client - Our client is globally renowned MNC which is amongst the category leaders in the portfolio it caters to. With predominant sales in over 150 countries of the world, our client is amongst the most recognizable brands and they are looking for a senior sales professional to join the Western/Southern region and drive a growth in the top line with the Branch Head.

Job Description: Reporting into the Branch Heads - key responsibilities will include Net sales, Distribution and Share of market

- Drive Region profitability through efficient deployment of regional budget and portfolio management, working closely with the Regional Head

Talent management :

- Acquisition, Development and Engagement

- Ensuring commercial hygiene compliance, forecast accuracy

- Managing stockist and trade relationship by anticipating proactively and resolving issues, minimising stockist and field force attrition.

- Strengthening our GTM/ distribution effectiveness and efficiency and ensuring the health of the distribution system.

- Create and Support a Shopper-focused mindset as against just a trader-focused approach. Develop and implement programs to enhance shopper interaction with our brands/ messaging in-store.

- Interfacing effectively with functions like Customer Service, Finance, Customer Marketing, Consumer Marketing and IT on behalf of her/his team to ensure speedy resolution of issues and the facilitating Execution of Sales Strategy with the Regional Head, in- line with the organizational growth aspiration

- The incumbent will also be accountable for Sales Operations, Trade Marketing and Financial Control besides People Management.

The Successful Candidate:

- Premier B-School 2006 to 2008 batch graduates with total 8 -10 years sales experience out of which minimum 5 years in retail FMCG Sales environment.

- Primarily General Trade expertise and knowledge of driving sales in specific regions is a must.

- The candidate must have a strong demonstration of leadership skills and sound knowledge and exposure to Route-to-market strategy and execution.
