Crown-it is a market place for local businesses, where local merchants can list themselves and attract local consumers and consumers can discover and experience local merchants and get rewarded for that. Crown-it is targeting F&B, Health & Wellness and Beauty, along with long tail of local merchants in categories like florists, gift shops and even local kirana stores.

Crown-it provides technology to local businesses to run marketing programs to attract consumers. It charges the merchants a marketing fee for sales driven at the outlets, and shares part of the fee with consumers as cashback.

Crown It is product by Gold VIP Technology Solutions Pvt Ltd, headquartered in Gurgaon, India.

Business Development Manager :

We are looking for a senior-level sales professional to join Crown it's Sales team as a Business Development manager to develop partnerships with Top national brands and popular regional brands across Delhi-NCR, Mumbai and Bangalore. This position requires a consultative client facing approach at building relationships with Top companies. The candidate must have a successful track record of selling to national retailers.

We hire engaging individuals with clear reasons why they are driven to sell for Crown it. Experience selling and presenting in-person and over the phone are a must for the BDM success and fit within our team.

Salary Range: 6-8 LPA

Key Responsibilities :

- Facilitate, prepare and conduct daily sales conversations

- Manage a pipeline of national merchants and meet aggressive monthly sales goals

- Close high-value retail and service clients for Crown it.

- Develop and maintain an expert knowledge of the Crown it platform and audience and communicate and sell up to the C-level.

- Responsible for contract negotiation on new and renewal business

- Collaborate with other individuals on the regional/national sales, operations and account management teams

- Utilize internal and external resources to understand a prospects business including margins, quarterly and yearly sales and brand value proposition

- Develops familiarity with merchants- business, including but not limited to: products and/or services, consumer demographics, consumer ratings, points of competitive differentiation, merchant economic model, and revenue and profit drivers

- Understands and applies concepts of cash back/discount structure and strategy that are proven models for successful achievement of merchant's desired outcomes

Knowledge & Skill Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, MBA a plus

- Proven success of delivering results in a complex ecosystem; bias towards execution and delivery of results

- Ability to manage multiple accounts /initiatives in a fast paced changing environment

- Experience with selling over the phone and in-person to top companies

- Deep understanding of sales and marketing and factors that drive a prospect's business

- Experience hosting and entertaining prospects and clients

- Demonstrate high degrees of diligence and accountability and can point to respective personal results

- Ability to exercise outstanding judgment and discretion and work independently

- Strong strategic and critical thinking skills

- Professional, high integrity, persistent, organised and results driven

- Experience using CRM systems and specific experience with salesforce.com preferred but not mandatory.

- Ambitious, high-performing and highly energetic team player who is creative and resourceful (i.e. work fast with minimal assistance)
