Crisil - Senior Regional Manager - Business Development - Research (4-7 yrs)
Position Summary
Department: Research
Location: Chennai - We prefer local candidates
Role Summary :
Functional Responsibility / Domain Related :
- Would handle the sales responsibility in the defined territories (Tamil Nadu, AP and TL across client segments
- To market & develop business to commercial banks, NBFCs, financial institutions and corporate across allocated geographies
- Will be responsible for certain Product verticals and identify new business opportunities in the research space on a continuous basis and Coordinate with the product/research team to launch new products/variants of existing products.
Process Adherence :
- Manage and grow the existing large client base. Target and pitch to new high value clients/mandates in existing and new segments. Should be responsible for lead generation and maintaining a healthy pipeline for the team.
- Presales - Demo, respond to EOIs, RFPs, prepare proposals etc.
- Contract negotiation, contract closing
- Billing responsibilities
- Manage sales receivables
Client Management / Stakeholder Management :
Ensures client satisfaction and retention through regular meetings with key clients/senior management of clients. Should be able to network with the industry and be able to call on senior management of clients. Strengthen CRISIL Research's franchise.
Essential Qualification
- Graduate/PG in any discipline OR MBA (Marketing/Finance) from reputed institutes
- Due consideration will be given to relevant prior experience of Business Development in Information Services
- Knowledge on the Financial sector
Experience : 4-6 years- experience in Sales function ( direct institution sales or in research and information services firm or a financial services company)
