Job Title: Research Analyst

Job Responsibilities:

The role will require the candidate to support the asset management arm of a global bank in performing reviews on their exposure across different sectors. Key responsibilities include:

- Support review of various liquid investments on an annual basis and thereby help the client in complying with SEC's 2a7 regulation

- Support performing quarterly/annual reviews for the given portfolio of corporate exposure across high grade and high yield investments

- Provide strong credit analysis with forward looking opinions in the reviews

- Support the client in updating the proprietary financial models with detailed operations and financial data across different business segments of the corporate

- Work in a one-on-one relationship with the client's onshore analyst and gain deeper understanding of the subject and his/her requirements

- Proactively identify ways of bringing standardization and adding value to the deliverables

- Support peer reviews to ensure quality across all deliverables

- Take active interest in building strong processes for any new work that may be allocated to the team

- Contribute to team's knowledge sharing sessions

Candidate Profile:

Skills Required:

- Relevant experience in corporate credit research

- Experience in credit ratings will be an added advantage

- Good communication and influencing skills

- Ability to manage performance under stringent timelines

Essential Qualifications:

- Professional qualification (e.g. CFA, MBA, CA, FRM certification) preferred
