Equity Research Analyst - Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT)

Job Summary: Support Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) sector equity research analyst of a US based sell side research firm. The support could be across sub sectors like Software and Service, Internet and Digital Media, Tech Payments and Business Services and Media & Communications

Functions/Responsibilities:

- Build end to end financial models for initiating coverage

- Update models for earnings and events

- Contribute to initiation, earnings and sector notes

- Search and aggregation on sector and companies

- Provide data and analysis based on various client request

- Build and update sector databases in Excel

Competencies:

- Prior experience of at least 3-6 years in equity research covering Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) sector

- Excellent financial modelling skills

- Understanding of US GAAP adjustments

- Ability to think and work independently

- Excellent client management and communication

- Knowledge of macros and VBAs and ability to automate large unstructured daya

Education:

- Chartered Account and/or MBA (Finance) from reputed institute
