Crisil - Derivative Analyst - Product Control (1-3 yrs)

Experience 1-3 years of relevant OTC Derivatives experience, preferably in P&L
Job Duties - Support the product control team ( Equity ) for the daily P&L attribution and explain
- Analysing and explaining daily P&L, calculating and adjusting trade provisions and ensuring independent check of FO valuations
- Month end and periodic P&L and management reporting
- Reconciliation of trades between front and back office systems to ensure no breaks. Task will include:
Reconciling cash, PV's and some other parameters for each trade
Identifying any breaks and reconciling with appropriate teams
Identify repeatable processes for automation
- Support middle office and trading desk with queries related to P&L reconciliations
- Provide metrics and MIS reports to senior management
- Re-engineer existing process and identify gaps and propose remediation
- Work proactively to create more effective reconciliation systems and enhance process for improved efficiency and control
- Manage ad-hoc requests from upstream and downstream partners
Qualification Engineer/ MBA
Candidate with 1-3 years of MO experience in P&L reconciliations
Skills required - Very strong derivatives knowledge
- Very good derivative product knowledge
- Technical skills - MS Visio / MS Access
