Job title : Data Scientist  Experience : 3-8 years  Job Description  - Quantitative risk modelling, with an aim to improve the risk and control culture, specifically relating to trading   - Developing risk models and applications that signal supervisory risk, and investigating risks  - Work closely with COOs, stakeholders and business to understand and model risks of each business unit  - Investigate trading data, undertake bespoke data analysis from time to time  - Take initiative in dealing with uncertainty, interdependencies, opportunities or risks  Work Experience/ Background  - Exposure to front office business in an investment bank, and awareness of trading environments and processes  - Experience in front office quant, valuation, market risk and Product Control teams  - Experience building and maintaining flexible, dynamic and user-friendly data models, database querying and manipulation skills  - Experience in financial or risk modeling  - Awareness of investigation and auditing techniques   - Track record of successfully working with and influencing stakeholders   - Proven ability to apply the highest standards of confidentiality and integrity  - Awareness of policies and compliance with respect to trading and supervision of trades is a plus  Qualification  Highly numerate, preferably with a technology qualification or a technology supplement to other qualifications such as statistics or mathematics; M.
