Position - Associate Director  Reporting to - Director  Division - Infrastructure Advisory- Energy  Location - Delhi / Mumbai  ROLE SUMMARY	  - The recruit will be responsible for business development and execution of energy efficiency, smart grid and demand side management focused consulting assignments especially in areas of PPP, policy, feasibility, bid process, appraisals and project management across clients in India and abroad including Utilities, PSUs and Multilaterals.  JOB REQUIREMENTS	  - The candidate shall be well-versed and experienced in techno-commercial aspects of energy efficiency (EE), smart grids (SG) and demand side management (DSM) and should have in-depth understanding of, but not limited to the following (demonstrated by past work):  Sector related  - Policy, regulatory framework governing power sector in general and EE, SG and DSM in specific  - Technical aspects of EE, SG and DSM including pre-feasibility and detailed feasibility studies  - Conducting energy auditing and energy management  - Techno-commercial and regulatory aspects of power distribution sector  - Bid process management for selection of developer / projects and delivering project management services  - Project / financial appraisals, financial modelling and risk management   - Ability to execute and handle assignments involving policy design, impact analysis, market research, technical implementation, skill gap analysis and capacity building  - Overall client management and assuring quality of deliverables  - Preferably understanding of power sector in African and South East Asia countries  - Preferably relationship with stakeholders such as BEE, Utilities etc.  Business Development  - Proactively engaging with prospective clients in India and abroad for tracking and tapping business opportunities  - Preparation of tenders, proposals and negotiation with clients  - Participation in outreach events (conferences, articles in magazines etc)  - Focus of retaining client for future through building relationship and assuring high quality and timely delivery of assignments  Experience- 7- 10 years   Qualification - MBA / CA / CFA or equivalent; BTech / BE is essential   Certified Energy Auditor or equivalent is preferable  Skills Required	  - Highly developed ability to interact with senior management in PSUs, private and multilateral clients  - Assignment, client and team management and mentoring  - Excellent presentation and report writing skills   - Financial, risk modeling and analytical skills   - Should be open for extensive travelling  Desirable skills:   - Consulting experience  - Energy auditing ground experience
