Analyst - Python & Tableau
Functional Responsibility / Domain Related :
Supporting the S&P Analyst in fixed income publications for the Corporate, Financial Institutions, Structured Finance and Public Finance domains and other ad-hoc reports
Research and Financial report writing
Execute the work under the Manager's guidance and in consultation with the S&P analyst, regularly interact with the S&P analyst to keep him/her updated on the progress of deliverable
Staying updated on macro-economic news and data releases and tracking trends in bond market and related data points
Actively participate in the team/client calls and review meetings, alert the S&P analyst and the Manager about any exceptions or any emerging difficulties in the smooth execution of work within timelines
Conversant with excel spreadsheets and report writing
Execute analytical reports related to macro-economics, bonds markets, and corporate rating actions
Update task level operating manuals to document new knowledge gained and new processes
Actively participate in forums across GAC
Process Adherence :
Adopt and adhere to the defined processes in day to day execution of assignments as well as organization wide requirements
Strictly practice and follow all Information Security Policies, Procedures and Guidelines of the Organization
Client Management / Stakeholder Management
Build and maintain cordial and healthy work relationships with onshore clients
Educational Qualification - MBA (Finance)
Skills :
Strong financial report writing skills
Strong Advanced Excel, power point skills
Experience in handling conference calls and maintain sound communication with onshore clients
Knowledge of third party databases such as CEIC, Bloomberg, Haver, Oxford, Thomson Data stream, S&P Cap IQ (added advantage)
Flexible in working at odd hours
Ability to take ownership and execute tasks independently
Positive attitude with qualities of a team player
Open to new ideas and initiatives
Basic knowledge of SQL (added advantage)
Basic knowledge of Data Science using SAS, R, Python, and Tableau (added advantage)
