Position - Associate Director 	  Grade - AD  Reporting to - Director  Location - Mumbai  ROLE REQUIREMENTS	  Essential Qualification: Post Graduation in Management (MBA) or equivalent  Experience: 8+ years of experience in Shipping and logistics with focus on Inland transportation, Roads and Logistics  Role Summary	  The person is expected to  1. Use domain strengths to generate business by developing client relationships, identify / generate leads, make effective pitches, write effective proposals, etc. in his/her area of domain strength.  2. Will be responsible for generating new business in the logistics space  3. Should have excellent connects with in the Industry – International exposure for conducting engagements would be an added advantage  4. Project-manage assignment modules or complete assignments (depending on size and complexity) in terms of all aspects i.e. assignment quality, timelines, profitability of execution, client satisfaction/relationship and team morale.  5. Responsible for billing , collections and assignments profitability   6. Conduct outreach activities by writing articles, in-house research, deliver presentations in seminars/conferences, etc.  7. Stay alert to changing customer needs and come out with suggestions in terms of identification of new concepts/products/tools/services relevant to the market and support development of new specific offerings.  8. Act as repository of skills/knowledge and share knowledge and develop execution capacity in the identified domain area(s) to ensure that business stays current on market insights and has capability to scale up execution in the identified domain area(s) (this will entail nurturing talent and mentoring other team members)  9. Coach junior colleagues   Knowledge / Abilities  - Independent Contributor, responsible for consulting engagements in Transportation and logistics  - Should have executed engagements in the area of Project feasibility, Transaction Advisory, Commercial Due- diligence, Policy formulation  - Should have good Management level connects which can be leveraged for generating new business and have the ability to identify business opportunities and generate business   - Should have good understanding of financial forecasting and modeling.  Skills /competencies/attributes  Should have:  1. Should have extensive experience of working in logistics/ Supply chain/ operations consulting mandates   2. High energy levels in multi-tasking across engagements or Organizational initiatives.  3. Strong client relationship development and management skills   4. Ability to identify business opportunity and convert it into a mandate  5. Strong project conceptualization , planning and analytical skills  6. Strong client management capabilities  7. Strong communication skills (written and oral)  8. Ability to manage senior level interactions within client organizations
