We are looking to fill a highly rewarding 'Information Technology Champion' position to head our team of highly skilled IT professionals.

Job title : Head- Information Technology

Location : Goregaon West, Mumbai

Work days : Mon to Fri (weekends are all yours!)

Key responsibilities :

- Develop the vision and road map of organization's technology strategy. Lead the architecture and execution of it.

- Identify new technology trends and keep an eye on consumer's evolving behavior in electronic and mobile commerce.

- Lead and manage a top-notch engineering teams

- Lead strategic planning and prioritization exercise across different functions for IT projects, resulting in visible milestones and delivery timelines.

- Establish risk and governance processes. Ensure safety and security of company data and user's privacy information.

- Ensure that latest technology standards and best practices are maintained across the organization.

- Share and communicate company's technology strategy with partners, management, investors and business stakeholders.

- Assist Architect, Technical Leads and Developers in establishing standard development practices in projects.

- Work with the Architect, Technical Leads to validate the development approach and assumptions that under lie the project plan and work plan.

- Develop, plan and control development and infrastructure related annual IT budget.

- Build a performance-driven culture and drive it consistently.

Technical Skills :

- Knowledge of technological trends in the S/W development industry, such as SOA, Multi-Tier S/W development, Web Based S/W.

- Very good experience on Microsoft Technologies - ASP.NET, C#, VB.NET, VB.

- Deep understanding of logical database design and development, especially in Microsoft SQL Server (2005 & 2008 or latest).

- Must have experience in web development technologies.

- A demonstrated expertise in the use of Microsoft development tools and technologies including Visual Studio (2003 and/or .Net) and Visio.

- Must be an Agile champion.

- Must have thorough understanding of Project Management methodologies and tools.

- Knowledge of open source (PHP/ My SQL/ Phython/ Java/ JS/ JQuery/) technologies will be given preference.

- And definitely, curiosity to learn, ambition to progress, creativity to innovate, and the willingness to go that extra mile to achieve unprecedented success!
