The Investment Strategy and Research group is a part of Credit Suisse Private Banking and Wealth Management division.   - The group works on fundamental and quantitative research with the Investment Strategy verticals like Equities, Fixed Income/Credit, FX, Macro and others.   - Investment Strategy and Research publishes periodic investment reports for all these asset classes which are distributed to its HNI/ Ultra high net-worth clientele and to the Private Banking relationship managers  We offer:  - Solving fundamental research problems by applying quantitative methods that requires excellent mathematical and statistical knowledge.  - Applying quantitative tools and techniques (e.g. econometrics) to financial and economic data to obtain analytical output, testing hypothesis by applying massive data analysis.  - Design of optimization capabilities, portfolio construction methods and analytics, and risk management tools.  - Design and implementation of experiments to validate economic and statistical hypotheses.  - Review and application of concepts from the latest academic journals and investment research.  - Preparing of presentations and studies for internal and end-clients and contributing to investment strategy and research publications.  - Creating and generating innovative and successful investment ideas and solutions for clients.  - Connect and co-ordinate successfully with on-shore research analysts and create a winning team.  You offer:  - Advanced Quantitative Finance/Econometrics/ Engineering degree from reputed University/ IIT or equivalent college  - Some professional experience in quantitative analytics and trading strategies.  - Advanced knowledge of VBA and Excel a must.  - Working knowledge other software (e.g. Eviews and Matlab) preferred.  - Strong experience in working the data and databases (DataStream and Bloomberg).  - Solid knowledge of model building.  - Strong knowledge in mathematics and statistics. In particular their application to finance in developing investment strategies.  - Specialist experience in topics like asset allocation strategies and portfolio construction and optimization.  - Experience in data handling and working with multiple asset classes.  - Should be able to articulate complex thoughts and ideas into simple language and communicate them with ease  - Should be a quick learner, and highly energetic, enthusiastic and driven  - Should be able to generate ideas, test and implement them.  - Excellent writing and PowerPoint skills and fluent English.
