Credit Suisse - Index & ETF Trading Analyst (3-6 yrs)

We offer

Work closely with Delta one Index Trading Desk - (Americas Region)

- Daily maintenance of Index & ETF books - Complete ownership of daily hedging & risk management of all the books

- Complete ownership of daily & periodic rebalancing

- Index changes forecasting for major indices, dividend forecasting for SPX, SML, RTY, DJI, MSCI US, TSX60 & MEXBOL Indices

- Thematic research on Indices & ETFs

- Manage corporate action tracking book, optimal elections of voluntary corporate actions

- Custom index creation, maintenance, pricing and distribution

- Trading ideas around index changes, dividends forecasts, optionalities, reorganization, spinoffs, M&A, IPOs & other special events

- Creating optimized trading baskets to track illiquid Indices & ETFs

- Index Analytics for reviews and ad-hoc events, providing alerts and forecasts for upcoming events

- Produce detailed ad-hoc analysis around special situations (M&A, Spin Off, Rights offerings)

- Back testing index review trading performance, volume flows, tracking estimates etc..

You offer

Preferably Engineering background or MBA's (Finance)

Similar experience (i.e. Index, ETF and Equities Market expereince) in banks or other organizations will be helpful but not necessary.

Basic understanding of the financial industry and products

- High level of attention to detail, good team player with ability to work independently

- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task and work under pressure

- Very good Communication skills

- Ability to handle/ implement Quantitative Investment Research Ideas, Trading Strategies and Portfolio Construction methods
