Credit Suisse - Director - Risk Change - Credit Risk/Market Risk/Operational Risk (14-18 yrs)

Role -

As part of this role, the candidate is expected to:

1. Program management of all projects under Myriad book of work including portfolio governance, stakeholder management, ensuring quality/timeliness of deliveries and strategic alignment to target operating model and target architecture

2. Project plan management: To create, monitor and deliver project work plans and revise those as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements

3. Budget management: To monitor and be responsible for the timing and budget of projects deliveries.

4. Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with external stakeholders and senior management to drive the delivery of their portfolio of projects

5. Set up and execution of multi-level governance forums, working groups and responsivity for program communication

6. Effective collaboration with external CRO, CFO, IT and Front Office stakeholders for managing program dependencies, issues/escalations and communication

7. Team Management - provide management and oversight to delivery teams as required in close collaboration with delivery leads

In addition to project management responsibilities, the candidate will also be expected to support business architecture and solution design across the entire Myriad portfolio:

1. Design and development of business processes as required by the various projects

2. Collaborate with IT to design the logical data model and IT architecture

3. Support the evolution of the business architecture frameworks and models

4. Represent Myriad in various Design Working Groups/ Steering Committees

5. Ensure that the business and IT architectures are aligned with the Target Operating Model

6. Act as a subject matter expert and as a trusted advisor at the N-2/N-3 level

Education / Experience:

- An University degree in a quantitative discipline, MBA is preferable

- 15+ years in Banking or Financial Services Consulting

- Proven experience in managing large complex programs in risk/finance domain

- Experience in defining and implementing business process architectures, preferably in the risk management domain - desirable

- Strong understanding of FTB, banking risk and finance processes and infrastructure

- Excellent quantitative and analytical and problem solving skills

- Proven organizational, leadership, communication and management skills

- Proven ability to communicate with all levels of Management in a clear, concise manner

- Solid strategic analysis, problem solving, issue resolution and decision making skills

- Candidate must be able to lead by example and motivate/ focus team members

- Self-motivated with demonstrated ability to innovate and drive change

Personal Qualities

- Analytically focused and process oriented

- Sufficient credibility to direct project teams and facilitate senior management conversations (N-2, N-3)

- Assertive nature with tact, discretion and diplomacy

- Solid facilitation and communication/negotiation skills

- Effective relationship management and influencing skills
