Credit Suisse - Business Analyst - FP&A Hyperion

Responsibilities:

- Reports to Functional Design Lead to perform the functional design of both processes and systems from business requirements definition through to implementation.

- Works with the business to define the Group processes and tools for strategic and financial planning, forecasting, budgeting and the reporting of actual MI from data capture through to final reporting.

- Uses prior experience to ensure design is scalable and flexible to allow response to ongoing changes in regulatory requirements and future extension into divisional operational planning if required.

- Works with IT to agree the end state architecture, select software, develop prototypes, support technical design, build and test activities.

- Provides key functional input to testing and training activities, data conversion and cutover.

- Proactively manages risks and issues and escalates as appropriate.

Skills & Experience:

Essential

- Considerable experience in designing group planning transformation including end to end process and system change.

- Delivery of at least 2 full lifecycle implementations.

Experience in designing solutions using a number of the following products:

- Planning tools - Oracle Hyperion Planning, Strategic Finance

- Process management - Oracle Financial Close Manager

- Reference data management - Oracle Data Relationship Manager

- Data sourcing - Informatica, FDMEE

- Management information - Essbase, TM1

- Reporting - OBIEE, Panopticon

- Experience in designing driver based planning, rolling forecast and scenario analysis solutions.

- Experience in iterating design and implementation to accommodate changing internal and external requirements.

- Experience working with teams of internal employees, contractors and consultants across multiple locations.

- Excellent verbal and written English.

Desirable:

- Knowledge of the impacts of CCAR (or similar regulation) on MI processes.

- Knowledge of Hyperion Financial Management for group consolidation and statutory reporting.

- Experience of integrating Hyperion solutions with tools from other vendors.

- Experience in the alignment of management and statutory information systems and reporting.
