Credit Risk Modeling Analyst - Bank - IIT/ISI/IIM/MDI/XLRI/DSE (3-5 yrs)
About Client
Our client is one of the largest Global Banks with demonstrated strengths in both Commercial and Retail Banking. They are in the process of growing their Risk Analytics function in Bangalore and are looking to hire specialists in Credit Risk Modeling (Basel II & III Modeling, CCAR, IFRS 9, Stress Testing) with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
The Role
Reporting in to the Senior Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Timely analysis of credit risk portfolio data which would include analysis of credit risk parameters and portfolio data across different portfolio types (probability of default, loss given default, exposures at default, product, maturity, run-off/migration analysis, vintage analysis).
- Build best in class provision reporting that meets IFRS 9 regulatory requirements and internal business expectations.
- Work with senior team members to automate and streamline calculation of provisions in line with industry standards.
- Communicate analysis and results to stakeholders.
- Build collaborative relationships within the bank.
- Provide value-add risk data analysis to support methodology development and impact assessments.
As the successful applicant you will:-
- Have 4+ Years of Demonstrated Experience in Credit and Regulatory Risk Analytics
- Be a Skilled Risk Modeler in Regulatory aspects like Basel II & III, IFRS 9, or Application Scorecards and Behavior Scorecards
- Have a Masters Degree in a Quantitative Discipline from a top Tier Institute like the IITs, ISI, IIMs, MDI, XLRI, DSE or a top tier International Institute
- Possess advanced Statistical Skills and be hands on with SAS, SQL,
- Come with a sophisticated International outlook and demonstrate executive presence
