Credit Risk Manager - Credit Advisory Firm (1-5 yrs)
Our client is a startup founded by alumnus of IIM C and MDI Gurgaon. The company operates in the fin-tech domain, helping customers to improve their credit ratings and get access to better financing options and also providing leads and sales enablement services to companies in the BFSI domain.
The company is a stable one with a track record of 5 years in which it has helped millions of retail customers improve their credit health and get access to better financing options.
As the Credit Risk Manager, you will be in charge of evaluating applications for loans and make decisions regarding whether to approve an applicant for financing. The other key responsibilities will include:
- Perform data evaluation on information retrieved from hard money loan applications
- Consult with Loan Officers following meetings with potential clients
- Conduct risk assessments on potential clients based on previous borrowing history, credit rating, industry experience and other factors
- Request additional information from Loan Officers when appropriate
- Render application decisions based on consultations with supervisory underwriter and upper management
- Prepare reports detailing risk assessment findings and other data that contribute to lending decisions
- Deciding how much should be paid out
Candidate Profile:
- Analytical skills
- Good maths and statistics skills
- Attention to detail
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Good IT skills
- Good judgement
- Candidates with negotiation and interpersonal skills would be ideal
