We are looking candidates for our NBFC client in Mumbai for Credit Manager position

JD:-

- Implementation of Credit Policy and continuous evaluation to ensure adherence to the Policy and compliance with the Authority Matrix at branches in the area assigned. Credit appraisal for Mortgage files for the assigned location.

- He will be responsible for ensuring that all loan applications are assessed as per the credit policy and all deviations, if any, are properly mitigated and documented.

- You will be required to visit clients, assess them based on personal discussion and interview and ensure that all files are turned around within acceptable time lines.

Specific Responsibilities:

- Visit customers, assess applications and ensure that credit parameters are adhered to track deviations and any correlation between deviations and delinquencies.

- Monitor portfolio and highlight any early warning signals.

- Ensure that all KYC guidelines issued by RBI from time to time are adhered to.

- Ensure proper security creation process for all secured loans.

- Monitoring of the portfolio, analysis of delinquent cases, profiling of customers, data cuts.

- Deep understanding of risk and its various dimensions like operational risk, credit risk, market risk, etc.

- Willingness and ability to travel within the city.

- Good analytical skills and ability to process data on computer spreadsheets.

- Solving customer queries to help proper functioning of sanctioning & disbursement.

- Solving Operations & Audit queries for disbursements.

- Maintain/verify all KYC documents.

- Preparation of Credit Appraisal Memo (CAM).

- Checking Fixed Obligation Income Ratio (FOIR), eligibility and given document like (payslip, bank statement etc).

Skills & Competencies:

- Business Acumen

- Balance between Risk and Business.

- Eye for detail.

- Analytical Skills.

- Understanding of client segment.

- High degree of conviction in decision making.

- Ability to communicate sensitively and assertively.

Qualifications:

- Master degree in finance (MBA) or a professional qualification (CA) is preferred.

- Excellent verbal & written communications skills.

- Should be an expert in MS Excel and MS Power Point
