Job Description:
Job Purpose
- To support the business in the management of credit exposure and collection of trade debt for the South Asia Region.
Dimensions:
- Support business division with credit exposure of more than USD 80 million
Principal Accountabilities:
The position is part of APAC Regional Credit Management services and is responsible for:
- Accountable for managing the regional accounts receivable portfolio according to the credit policy to ensure customer compliance with payment terms.
- Responsible for credit risk assessment and regular updates on customer credit files.
- Responsible for monthly reporting to treasury and business, as well as constant and pro-active communication with the business regarding specific overdues and credit risks.
- Responsible for monthly collections target
- Needs to take credit decisions up to a certain amount for new and existing accounts and contributes to decision making on credit management aspects above a specified level.
- Responsible for full compliance with credit policy and SOX.
- Maintain key performance indicators according to goals.
- Participation in various ad hoc projects, reports and credit committee activities.

Knowledge, Experience and Skills required:
- Bachelors degree in finance/ accounting
- At least 3+ years relevant experience in the industrial credit field, preferably Petrochemical. Must have experience working in fast paced Blue Chip MNC.
- Proven ability to perform financial statement analysis and recommend credit limits.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP experience preferred.
- Must have a high level of initiative and be goal driven
- Strong interpersonal & communication skills
