Credit Analyst - Corporate Banking (1-7 yrs)

The team will perform research & analysis and credit management activities for Corporate clients. These include:

- Prepare Asset Writing Memos (AWM) for Authorized Point status clients

- Prepare Financial Monitoring Dairy Notes (DN)

- Annual Review Credit Memorandums (ARCM)

- All other credit management activities as identified by Credit and Capital Management (CCM) from time to time.

Key responsibilities:

- Responsible for write-up of Corporate credit proposals by working closely with Frontline and Risk. Comprehensive credit memo/diary note coverage covering all key analytical areas - risk rating, financials, recent news, economic, political/regulatory environment and views from rating agencies/other research institutions

- Personally develop and maintain strong working relationships with Business (RM's and R&A Associates) and Risk Executives to ensure all key risks are properly recognized and thoughtfully mitigated in credit proposals.

- Adherence to internal group policies, procedures and processes.

- Reduce regional variations in the templates, procedures and policies by adopting a globally consistent framework in the hub

- Play an active and constructive role in identifying opportunities to improve the efficiency and quality of credit process

- Engage in the development, implementation, review and monitoring of various credit programs

Requirements:

- Academic understanding of Credit principles and policies

- Qualified Chartered Accountant or MBA Finance from a premier institution or other avenues such as Masters in Economics, etc

- Excellent communication and ability to build effective relationships stakeholders

- 1-7 years- work experience in the field of credit analysis or research field
