Main duties and responsibilities  Duties and Responsibilities in brief :   - Working closely with insight team, global/regional team and marketing counterparts to build category strategy.  - Leading Innovation agenda though various stages of NPD cycle for the category with marketing and compliance to annual plan.   - Prepare product launch roadmap and execution plan to achieve category ambitions.   - New product development and technical support to various cross functional team to ensure momentum i.e. Procurement, Manufacturing, Engineering and Quality assurance.   - Co-coordinating the entire NPD team for product development, Pilot trial, sensory evaluation, shelf life studies, and analytical testing, Sourcing, Market research, specifications, Packaging development, etc  - Preparation of Master formula, Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR), SOPs for new products, raw material and ingredient specs finished goods spec and all other documentations  - Interacting with legal agencies like FSSAI, FDA, BIS, lawyers for new ingredients/ product, FICCI, CII,  - Market research and Consumer insight generation/evaluation to get bigger and bolder ideas for business.   - Work closely with purchase team for economical sourcing of raw material.  Knowledge and Skills:  - Around 10+ years in research and development of new product under various categories. Preferable meat related product with strong packaging knowledge  - Knowledge of Quality Management System and food safety standards to comply with HACCP, ISO - 22000:2005(FSMS), HACCP, FSSAI and other statutory quality standards.   - Other Requirements : Mature & experienced personality, Leadership Traits, Negotiation skill, Multiple Team handling with scheduling, eye for detail  Technical Skills:  - Development and implementation of GMPs, GHP, SSOP Plans as per HACCP  Hands-on knowledge of typical Microsoft office software (incl.
