Job Title - BD Head Modern Trade

Job Profile - General Summary

Modern Trade:

- Identify the Modern Trade space in the market to promote the complete range of products.

- Enable business growth by developing and managing a network of Modern Trade outlets to enhance market penetration and business.

- Activate the ATL and BTL activities like: scheme promotions in all the pitch points.

- Experienced in Frozen Meat & Food segment, especially chicken would be added advantage.

- Manage the teams to enable achievement of pre-set targets.

Job Description:

Hands on Experience in:

Key account Management Strategic Planning Business Development

Channel Management Team Management Training & development

Inventory Management Logistic Management Sales, Marketing & Distribution

Hands on experience in dealing with Indian QSR Chains & Food Processors. Self starter, high level of initiative, service driven, establishes lasting relationships with clients. Previous experience of dealing with frozen meat and food with seasoning & spreads segment preferred

- To handle the business team of all categories in Key Accounts.( Modern trade)

- To achieve the sales expectations, Monitoring and review the sales on a periodic basis.

- To plan and implement promotions to increase category sales and thereby increase the market share.

- Evaluating the promotional activities and taking corrective actions

- Evaluating Joint Business Plan Proposals with potential customers and ensure the same is tracked periodically.

- Budgeting promotional cost and tracking the same.

- Get in touch with National and Regional sales team regularly to ensure smooth transactions with the accounts.

- To implement the special visibility plans as per the guidelines of the HO team

- Coordinate with Company HO team for promo & Budget approvals, Special Visibility plans

- To monitor the availability, visibility & freshness on regular basis, by going through the reports generated by the merchandisers during their visits.

- To take corrective actions on issues raised on the above.

- Building market intelligence and observing the strategies of the all players in the retail industry. Providing constructive recommendations for countering competition activities.

- Monitoring the Fill rates.(Order v/s Delivery).

- Stock controlling: Ensuring the right quantities are maintained at Distributor level, Account DC level and store level via teams

Key Responsibilities :

- Expansion of network at State Levels and New Accounts prospecting, Opening & setting up with proper assortment.

- Possess sound business acumen in developing new business, and customer-need identification,

- Pre-emptive business response to competitor strategy with proven business development skills.

- Strong planning and execution skills along with a systematic approach.

- A team builder to the core and a natural motivator with perseverance and integrity.

Skills / Experience / Specific knowledge required

Technical Skills

Hands-on knowledge of typical Microsoft office software (incl. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Language Skills

Educational Requirements:

Qualification: Any Graduate/Master Degree - MBA

Major/Subject : Sales and Marketing
