About our Client :
Our client is a Eurpean MNC with a history of over 80 years in Building Materials across the globe. They have operations in over 60 countries directly or indirectly and a market leading portfolio. Their products largely cater to Interior Building Materials. Currently their Indian operations are through distributors and the company is looking for an individual to build their business in India eventually creating a launch pad for direct entry.
Job Description :
Reporting to the Managing Director, Asia, you will be responsible for :
- Develop and carry out business strategy for India & Sub-Continent
- Set up, guide and manage sales team
- Set up and manage the distribution network
- Create a strong awareness among local decision makers i.e. Architects, designers, end users and contractors
- Conduct market surveys in order to develop new business segments
- Manage key projects
- Part of Asia leadership
The Successful Candidate :
- You will have a B.E and MBA with over 10 years experience in Sales of Business Materials. You will have a proven track record of success handling Sales & Distributor management.
- You will have good communication skills and should come with a strong market knowledge of Building Materials.
