This opportunity as the Senior Risk Officer for Mumbai, India requires you to be responsible for a group of highly qualified risk analytics professionals, delivering risk management services to the onshore teams.

Job Description: Reporting to the Group Head, you will be responsible to:

- Demonstrate active, effective leadership by inspiring a vision, motivating a passion to excel and cultivating the firm values.

- Effectively manage day to day administrative functions of running a 150-200 people offshore organization.

- Actively partner with onshore senior risk leaders across multiple lines of consumer businesses to help grow the firm's bottom line and protect the company from undue credit, fraud, operational or reputational risks.

- Effectively integrate stateside partners to working within an offshore business model. Source, recruit, hire, train and develop local talent and get them to stateside talent levels.

- Create career mobility to ensure acceptable levels of retention within the offshore team.

- Provide thought leadership in all aspects of credit, fraud and operational risk management, risk modeling, and risk and P&L analytics.

The Successful Candidate: As a successful applicant, you should have:

- Over 18 years of experience in risk analytics (credit, fraud, operational risk) within retail credit businesses post your masters degree in a quantitative discipline (Economics, Statistics or Maths).

- 5+ years with P&L management responsibility for risk management in credit card, secured loan products (mortgage or auto) for US consumer banking business.

- Proven ability to create, socialize and implement business wide risk management strategy.

- You have exceptional management, analysis and presentation skills and have demonstrated experience to attract and retain a high performing team.
