Country Manager- Luxury Retail Major.  Our client is a well known name in the branded luxury products sector with an instant brand recall. Their products in the Luxury retail category are made with a promise of quality, born of expert craftsmanship & designing & by using the finest materials and meticulous attention to detail in this trendsetting category.   For their ambitious initiative in India, they are looking for a dynamic professional as a business head for India & South Asia, a professional with a strong luxury retail experience, with specialization in building network of world class luxury brand, luxury shopping destinations/luxury brand network, with a strong orientation to India & the region.  Summary :   - Provide leadership for the business vertical which will have the maximum visibility and which has the potential to become a global trend setter in the branded luxury category.   - The incumbent has to craft the business strategy to set up a Pan India and South Asia network, identify new opportunities in the domain, come out with a strategic plan to advance the company's mission & objectives to promote the concept, the product line, revenue, profitability and growth.   - Oversee the day to day operations of the Indian entity and should be able to insure a world class experience, efficiency, quality, service, effective supply chain and cost-effective management of resources for this state of the art project  Primary Responsibilities :   - Develop a strategic plan to execute the company's mission and objectives and to promote revenue, profitability, and growth for this luxury retail brands .   - Lead the Operations to deliver efficiency that align with brand direction, enable legendary customer service and positively impact company results  - Plan, develop, and implement strategies for creating a brand and manage the P&L.   - Identify and build strong partnerships to expand the business.   - Approve company operational procedures, policies, and standards.   - Review activity reports and financial statements to determine progress and status in attaining objectives and revise objectives and plans in accordance with current conditions.   - Become the face of the brand, Promote the business, as a speaker in the industry events across the globe and use digital media effectively to create awareness of this business model.   - Understand current and future brand direction and develop retail operations strategies and solutions that align to and support it.  - Direct company planning and policy-making committees.   - Oversee various aspects of business which include brand marketing, supply chain, finance, merchandising, Operations and overall profitability and growth.  - Establish online business to expand the market and access of products.   Knowledge And Skill Requirements :  - Proven experience in similar luxury retail brands at the leadership role.  - International Partnership Management, experience in setting up and managing similar luxury retail chains.  - Ability to create an inspiring visitor and customer experience.  - Experience in strategic planning and execution, formulating policy, and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures.   - Ability to develop financial plans and manage resources, secure funding/revenue sources.   - Knowledge of communication and public relation techniques.   - Masters Degree in Business Administration/luxury brands/retail management and at least 15 years of experience out of which atleast 5 years in a leadership role for a large luxury retail chain.   - Understanding of luxury retail store formats, architectural concepts, creating flagship stores in multiple locations/countries, will be a must.  - Establishing a eCommerce platform including back end operations.
