About Our Client

Our client is a global market leading Cosmetics/ Derma organisations with a presence in over 40 countries. As part of their expansion into the AsiaPac region they are hiring a General Manager- India operations to setup and commercialize India. This person will be based in Mumbai.

Job Description

Reporting into the Head- Asia Pac your responsibilities will include but not be limited to

- Lead the country operations commercially and administratively.

- Pilot the marketing and sales strategy, product launches, commercialization policies, legal and administrative matters of India Operations.

- Define and executive the entire brand strategy of the organization.

- Build the India team entirely from frontline sales and all support functions.

- Manage all investments, assortment/positioning of the products, promotional plan, organization, local sales objectives.

- Prepare and follow the annual budget, manage the monthly P and L, manage accounts and cash flows.

- Dynamise the organizations and its brands in India and drive it to become a significant entrant in the segmented market.

- Handle major key accounts directly i.e wholesalers/dealers/distributors, groups or chains of points of sales, independent pharmacies, dispensing doctors and/or clinics

- Enhance sales by organizing and participating in events and promotions to magnify the brand to the target market.

- Align positively with leadership from regional headquarters to achieve the organizations goals and objectives for the India Market.

- Be the ambassador of the organisation to your entire team and drive them towards success.

The Successful Applicant

You will have atleast 8 years experience in the Cosmetics/ Pharmaceutical space and a dynamic entrepreneur by nature. You should have strong experience in team management and be highly ambitious to drive your team. You will have the spirit to grow your own business and the ambition to manage your own P and L.

You must have international exposure in a business role and preferably an MBA from a top Tier Indian or International B - School.
