Agrinos' range of High Yield Technology (HYT) products helps farmers to practice profitable agriculture by providing increased crop productivity, improved efficiency of conventional fertilizer and a reduced environmental footprint. Agrinos has witnessed a solid progress and has established itself in key agriculture countries such as Mexico, US, Brazil, China, Spain, UK, Indonesia, and Malaysia. They have recently partnered with a global specialized chemicals company which notably markets seeds and pesticides which will further boost their market penetration globally. Agrinos enjoys financial backing from a number of leading international investors. Its chairman, Dr Thorleif Enger, was the previous CEO of fertilizer company Yara. The company aims to go public in 2013. Agrinos provides first-class products and services to the agriculture sector globally. Now, with continued expansion of their global footprint they are looking at entering the Indian market on their own and are seeking a strong Country Manager to launch their business from Delhi. They already have made their presence felt successfully through a channel partner who has been instrumental in getting their products and trials conducted in various states within India since 2010.  Job Description - Reporting directly to APAC Head of Agrinos, you would be responsible for developing the Indian market and ensuring the partnership with current channel partner is further strengthened. It would further involve you to come up with a strategy to expand the trials and business opportunities to different states within India. This individual would be instrumental in increasing commercial sales, sophisticated and development trials within the existing and new markets within India. Furthermore you would work closely with regional and global stakeholders to maintain the high standards of services that this organization is renowned for.  The Successful Candidate - It's a challenging role that calls for self starter who will thrive in a nascent and dynamic environment a professional with at least ten to fifteen years of experience within Agri based firm, either in a large multinational or a large Indian house. In addition to a relevant degree, you must have excellent communication and leadership skills, with proven ability to grow a business. The incumbent has to be passionate and would have a positive frame of mind to take this entrepreneurial path for a multinational organization.
