Country Head - Logistics & Shipping (15-20 yrs)
- The ideal incumbent should be a Business Graduate/ Post Graduate/ MBA with at least 15 yrs experience, of which at least 5-6 yrs in the Middle East market in a reputed Logistics and Shipping Company with a valid GCC driving license.
- The person should have worked in the Senior Level Management with a successful track record.
- Accountable for revenue targets, close interaction with all departments, develop sales strategies & plans and ensure client retention.
- Review revenue & costing sheets for all products sold by the territory in order to establish specific gross & net profitability margins for each product.
- Interact closely with Sales Team to identify new retail avenues for the sale of products in each territory & design plans for use of these avenues.
- Ensure complete & unequivocal compliance with all regulatory issues required in the territory of operation with regard to commercial & employment legislation on an ongoing basis.
- Interact with the Operations Head to ensure standardized operating procedures & standards for all operational issues & customer service units are developed & implemented in the territory. Ensure that all Operations & Customer Service initiatives leading to operational/cost/service efficiencies are successfully implemented within the territory.
- Oversee roll out, implementation & complete compliance with all Group standard policy issues related to the following areas : Operations, Accounting, Finance, Credit Control, Purchasing & CAPEX, Administration, Human Resources and Brand Management
- Ensure that the territory receives an audit rating of - satisfactory- in all aspects
- Establish succession plans for each direct report with identified emergency succession & long term succession.
