Purpose of the Job
The Country Finance Manager is a mid-senior level position which handles all aspects of finance and finance business partnering. The broad deliverables include:
Advising the Country Manager and vetting business decisions from revenue and cost angles, budgets, forecasts, variance analyses, pricing
Setting up, upgrading and testing policies relating to accounting, financial reporting, management reporting, credit and collections, taxation and working capital management.
Managing a team to ensure high quality deliverables to statutory and internal auditors such as timely financial statements
Ideal Candidate
As an ideal candidate you are a high performing, energetic and driven Chartered Accountant with 8 years of experience in progressively more responsible finance and accounts roles. You have a top notch command over communication (Both written and spoken) and are experienced in working in a performance-oriented, numbers driven environment. You are entirely comfortable with matrix reporting, international stakeholder management and business orientation.
What we do not want
Individuals with a pure 'Bookkeeper Mindset' - who are not able to articulate energetically to convince stakeholders.
Individuals who do not take initiative and who wait to be instructed.
Individuals who do not have Bangalore as a top location preference.
