Job location:  Pune

Qualifications and experience required for the job:

 - MBA from Tier 1 institute

 - Sr. Manager: 6-8 years of experience in Corporate Strategy/Strategy Consulting of which atleast 3 years should be in IT industry

Job purpose

Work on strategic initiatives – build business cases and assist team in implementation

Role:

In collaboration with the Vice President Strategy and Planning, lead and direct the strategy of Fiserv India operations. The department will contribute to the construction of organizational strategy development and corporate planning processes.

Key result areas being:

 - Growth Initiatives

    1. Development of strategic initiatives for growth

    2. Business cases for initiatives

    3. Development of implementation plan and assistance in implementation

 - Operational Excellence

    1. Identify initiatives for operational improvement

    2. Build business case and implementation plan for these initiatives

 - Operating model improvement

    1. Benchmark operating model with competition and identify areas of improvement

    2. Detail out improvement areas

    3. Setup team for implementation of initiatives and assist in implementation

Ability to communicate ideas/initiatives through tools like Power Point.

Assignment and review of work

Major part of the work of the post will be self-initiated, in part guided by agreed performance objectives, to identify future policy and strategic issues. Some of the work is responsive to requests from specific individuals or in relation to specific local or corporate initiatives. A system of regular reviews of performance will be established.
