Corporate Quality Head - Mobile Handset (8-12 yrs)

We have an urgent requirement with one of the biggest group for Corporate Quality Head - Mobility at Gurgaon.

Profile :

FUNCTIONAL OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION:

To lead and manage the strategic and operational performance of Quality department by focusing on highest quality standards. Responsible to develop best quality products and ensure successful delivery of business strategy to achieve the commercial success.

JOB RESPONSIBILTIES:

- Strategy Planning and Implementation

Collaborates with Senior Management to develop the - Quality Policy- .

Develops and implements the quality management system covering the quality standards, norms and monitoring procedure for them.

Responsible to develop/update the quality parameters/ checklists to be used by other departments for day to day monitoring of the processes.

Implementing and maintaining a quality risk management system to ensure that risks are adequately controlled in accordance with current requirements.

Responsible to develop department and project budgets, execution schedules, cost schedules and ensure adherence to the same.

- Field Quality:

Monitoring & Control of Field Quality (FCR) of Mobiles by field defectives study and continuous improvement.

Support - Service team- on product trainings and technical problems (PQR), Spares and other jigs fixtures for faster customer addressal and conduct regular meetings with service.

Regular Dealer visits, happy calling for better market understanding (Measure of Customer satisfaction Index)

Reduction of Epidemic Failure to ZERO

- Factory Quality:

Maintain ISO 9001:2008 & ISO 14001 quality compliance as Management Representative

Strengthening, Upgrading & Controlling Incoming Quality (IQA), In Process Quality and Outgoing Quality Assurance (OQA) and timely closure of non-compliances (if any).

Ensure that all activities are performed in accordance with company SOPs and RoHS compliance as per Govt. norms

Establishing TQM / Six Sigma practices to control end-to-end Process.

Responsible for maintaining quality standards of products being exported as per international norms

Review Vendor visit plan for sourced material quality maintenance and improvement on regular basis.

Review & ensure the system of First part approval is carried out.

Strengthen the Product performance & Reliability tests by upgrading the infrastructure & develop Customer Experience Room.

Initiate product quality and process trainings for all departments.

Evaluate vendors/suppliers on defined quality parameters during the selection process and also carry out in process quality checks on the vendor/supplier.

Regular meetings with vendors for quality improvements and claim settlements.

- Product Development

Ensure new design implementation in Mobiles as per project schedule. Develop & strengthen sub ordinates through training

Discussion with marketing department & prepare product-line up

Responsible for Release & Approval of all new models for products in line with Market Requirement.

Product- benchmarking and incorporate possible changes in running / development models

Communicate with all concerned to initiate product development process

Analyze the LAR and Field failures related to design & initiate action.

Co-ordinate with T/room - PMS for deputing engineer for mould release.

Release of specification /drawings and technical support to vendors for development

- Systems:

Implementing regular Quality Audits for Defect detection ability and strict quality adherence.

Liaise with external agencies (certifications & Audits) to implement quality certification assessments.

Web CMS data monitoring for FCR Analysis & Improvement

Drive Innovations & Best Practices through LET/QIT/SRP/SRT's

Ensure 100% SAP Compliance in all Activities of QA in accordance with QM module blue print.

- Reviews:

Maintain Quality and Product development KPIs based on company objectives and conduct regular reviews to ensure targeted achievement.

Weekly Review with FOH

Monthly report publishing & review in FMM.

Motivate team to establish effective leadership and to have efficient contribution of team members.
