Reports to HR & training Head

HR Consulting

- To provide support on HR Processes

- To assist in the effective utilization and communication of HR policies and procedures

Recruitment & induction

- To facilitate assessment days based on market needs and assist with ad hoc recruitment

- To proactively assist in the screening of CVs & assist with recruitment

- To follow the recruitment policy and best practices

- To facilitate induction days as per the need of the market

- To monitor staff orientation in restaurant, provide coaching where needed and escalate non compliance

Performance Management & Talent Management

- To ensure performance management takes place within the company

- To develop and employee retention plans

- To monitor workforce plans for the market and action any necessary movements

Learning & Development

- To manage the training and development function of the organization and ensure the required skills level is maintained and improved upon

- To ensure procedural and management sign off in restaurants takes place and is constantly reviewed to ensure acceptable skills audit compliance results

- Facilitate training according to the needs of the region and the national training initiatives

- Facilitate training for the executives and customer support team.

- Maintain records of all training

- Define operating objectives and training plans to meet short and long terms goals, co-ordinate learning processes and create a positive learning environment

- Deliver facilitation or training using acceptable methods and techniques

- Identify potential and existing problems which may affect the success of training interventions

- Create awareness with regards to budgets and the cost implications of training and the measurement of return on investment thereof

Employee Relations Management

- To advise on ER issues and best practice

- To where necessary, sit in on disciplinary hearings to ensure fairness

- To assist in the resolution of grievances

- To report on disciplinary trends and training needs to HR & Management
