Opportunity

- Copal Amba is currently looking for a dedicated and motivated individual for its Human resources team.

Responsibilities

- Ensure all HR practices are accurate and comply with policy requirements.

- Represent the organization in dealings with external groups relevant to areas of accountability.

- Work with internal clients to ensure consistency with HR policy, standards and practices and /or facilitate the negotiation and agreement of appropriate variations and exemptions.

- Work with managers to define and prioritize their HR needs and services requirements.

- Responsible for various client and statutory audits not limited to SOX, ISO and Reponses for client RFP’s and presentation

- Support managers in the effective management of their people, providing advice and guidance on HR processes, good work practice and the handling of “sensitive” or difficult situations.

- Partner closely with key members of the Recruiting team to assist with liaising with managers and external agencies as required.

- Provide value-add recruitment related advice to hiring managers and key senior leaders/decision makers to influence and persuade talent decisions and strategies

- Partner with senior management, recruitment team and hiring managers to identify current and future hiring needs and workforce planning

- Build strong two-way relationships with hiring managers, provide support throughout the recruitment lifecycle, assist hiring managers with reconciling between ideal and practical staffing needs and ensure high-level service delivery

- Demonstrate understanding of talent needs of hiring managers and job requirements to assess candidate quality, skills and fit to identify the best candidate for a position

- Be knowledgeable about and able to appropriately explain Copal’s benefits and recruitment related policies and programs

Required Background

- Post-Graduation in a related discipline such as Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business, Psychology or Social Science will be highly regarded.

- Minimum 5 – 7 years of work experience in an HR role gained preferably within the global banking / financial services sectors.

- Knowledge of a diverse range of human resource specialties including recruitment, current employment legislation and Safety and ‘Employer of Choice’ practices.

- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)

- High degree of integrity and confidentiality

- Proven influencing, negotiation and time management skills

- Strong interpersonal, communication (both written and verbal) and people management skills
