Role entails formulating solutions for potential clients, leading project teams, ensuring high quality deliverables, relationship management, and identifying new opportunities for business development.   Responsibilities :  - Assisting oil and gas clients to develop results-driven strategies, including critical industry or market analyses for both up-stream and down-stream markets  - Setting up and managing research teams engaged in market assessments and opportunity assessments, competitive and operational benchmarking, case studies, creating thematic studies and information memorandums, etc.  - Conducting quality control check of outgoing reports and deliverables, brainstorming in overcoming intellectual bottlenecks on projects.  - Demonstrating strength and experience in client/requester relationship building and management, information/knowledge needs assessment.  - Delivering client and business objectives maintaining quick turn-around times, high quality standards, and efficient staffing.  - Recruiting, developing and growing the energy/oil and gas practice team ensuring aspirational needs are met and quality output is delivered.  - Integrate seamlessly into our domain-specific business development efforts including creating relevant marketing solutions, writing proposals, thought pieces, industry whitepapers etc.  Required Background :  - 6-8 years of experience working in research and consulting firms  - Superior problem solving abilities and strong analytical thinking skills, as evidenced by extensive experience in utilizing those skills in research and consulting environment  - Experience with consulting frameworks such as Porter's analysis, 4Cs, GE-McKinsey matrix   - Strong understanding of market dynamics across the oil & gas value chain globally   - Experience in handling multiple projects and manage resources efficiently  - Experience of working closely with unit heads to understand and formalize required end deliverables within defined time frames and ability to assess the risks and benefits of alternative solutions  - Excellent communication skills (both written and oral)  - Experienced in playing a client facing role (over the phone and email) to manage client expectations, understand their requirements and execute the task with the given team on a regular basis  - Knowledge of various databases (Business/Competitive Intelligence/Financial)   - Excellent knowledge of MS Office products, such as, Power Point, Excel and Word to deliver the desired output in a creative manner
